Call park is a feature of some telephone systems that allows a person to put a call on hold at one telephone set and continue the conversation from any other telephone set.

Expert Technology offers customized parking features with up to 10 parked lines if the customer requires. A typical scenario will consist for 3 parking lines; Park 1, Park 2, and Park 3. While on a call, simple press the “Park #” button and the call will immediately be available for pick up from another telephone.

When on a call that you are wanting to transfer, press the Transfer soft button. Input the extension you’d like to transfer to and press Send. After it begins to ring, complete the transfer by pressing Transfer again.

A cloud extension is a virtual phone extension that is not tied to a physical phone. This feature allows you to send calls to an outside phone such as another office, or most commonly, a cell phone.

If you are finding inconsistently quality in your phone lines and manage your own network, we advise to enable Quality of Service features to ensure that your VOIP traffic has priority. If you are unsure how to do this, contact us and we may help to provide guidance. If your network has QoS enabled and you are still having issues, contact us with the form to the right of this page and we can enable G729, which requires less bandwidth to make and receive calls.
